Your Minister License ID Card

Your minister identification card certifies that you are a legally ordained and currently licensed minister.

You may use the titles Pastor, Bishop, Deacon, Minister, Preacher, Priest, Priestess, Chaplain, Rabbi or any other title that you wish, except Doctor titles.

  • Your ID card is your Minister License, your ID as a Minister, and your small Certificate of Ordination all in one.
  • Your minister ID card will show that you are licensed to perform wedding ceremonies, baptisms and funerals.
  • Having minister credentials will allow you to perform the wedding ceremony of a friend or relative*. (See note below re Canada)

In addition, If your ministry takes you to hospitals or prisons, you may use the ID card to help you gain admittance to those institutions. You may also use the card to help obtain special parking privileges when they are available to ordained and licensed ministers.

Some states have special requirements and in a very few areas, (such as Nevada) our ministers cannot perform
marriages unless they have an actual congregation or perhaps can't perform marriages at all.

We suggest you order our publication "Details of Marriage Laws" to be well informed.

Additionally you may or may not be able to perform marriages in other countries.
* For example, our ministers may not perform marriages in Canada where very few churches are allowed to do that.

What's on your Minister ID Card....

  • It will bear the Church logo.
  • Your name and address will be typed on the card
  • You need to tell us what title you want before your name, if you want something different from Rev.
  • The back of the ID Card is signed by the Bishop
  • Shows that you are authorized to perform all duties of the ministry including:
    • marriages
    • baptisms
    • funerals
    • other religious ceremonies.
  • The Regular Minister License ID card and the Five-Year Minister License ID card have a date indicating the card is valid until one year or five years from the date it was issued.
  • If you would prefer not to have a date on your Minister ID card, you may choose the Lifetime Card which is valid as long as you live. Five-Year and Lifetime cards are laminated in plastic to preserve them over time.
  • If you are ordering an ID card for someone other than yourself, you need to put that person's name and address (as it should appear on the ID card) above.
  • Although we don't promise, we often process orders immediately so we rely on the information you provide with the order. If you did not provide the full and correct information, we may have to re-do the order at your expense.

You may become legally ordained right now by ordering an Ordination ID Card which is also your Minister License.

The ID card serves as your proof of ordination as well as your minister's license.

    I think it is a bit pricey for the quality but I guess you are basically buying into a privilege and not product. I am appreciative for this opportunity due to circumstances beyond my control I could not get Licensed with and through my church affiliation. God has placed the call upon my life, this ministry has enabled me to make it binding by law. Highly recommend anyone that is confident that God has place a special calling of ministering that cannot become licensed, this is the way to go. Plus they offer training!

    I like the card and certificate but I think the certificates should also have Rev. on them as well. As far as the ID card maybe it would be nice if it had a place for a photo.

    I am Blessed to receive the gift of being ordained by the American Fellowship Church. It is essential to me to know I am supported by the Church when I am doing house Blessings, Baptisms, etc., as well as helping people increase their spiritual development.

    Both the certificate document and the minister's licence are authentic looking and equally as well done as the post secondary documents I possess. Correspondence with AFC has been exceptional. The whole experience has meet my expectations completely.

    My experience was easy, and your chat live agents are great and very professional. I received my product and it looks great with professional details, and you even accepted my request to have the name of my church added to my ID card which is great. I do agree that a date would be a great detail to add because it gives it that much more credibility as to when you obtained, or maybe something that would say "member since:". Other then that, huge thumbs up and I am very, very happy. Oh by the way, churches do have their own logos, so maybe you can also allow for these logos to be displayed on the card and the certificate to make it more presentable to others.

    What I ordered has helped me to preform speeches at schools for children. I'm now out of the military and I grew up in the projects of St. Louis. I'm spending my time now preaching and teaching children to go in the right direction... To stay away from gangs, drugs and other such things. Thanks! again!

    I was trying to find a nice gift for a friend who is getting married in August. I was in a wedding not to long ago where a mutual friend became ordained. I figure it was a perfect gift for my friend. When I mentioned the idea of becoming ordained to my friend, she was extremely delighted and grateful. I've already performed one ceremony thus far to get ready for the wedding in August. I'm so happy I found this site, so helpful!!!
